🚩 A momentous occasion at the Whitathon 2025! 🚩
Sri Y. Nagi Reddy, IPS RR, Director General of Disaster Response & Fire Services, Telangana, officially flagged off the 10K run as part of our eye cancer awareness program. He was joined by esteemed guests Dr. Prashant Garg, Director of LVPEI, Dr. P Vijay Anand Reddy, Director of Apollo Cancer Center, and Dr. Swathi Kalki, Head of Ocular Oncology at LVPEI.
The Whitathon 2025, organized by the L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI), brought together around 2000 enthusiastic runners on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at T-Works, Raidurgam, Hyderabad, starting bright and early at 5:30 am.
We are excited to share that the Cure Foundation has partnered with LVPEI in this crucial initiative, highlighting the urgent need for awareness and support for children facing Retinoblastoma. Together, we are committed to shining a light on this serious condition and promoting early detection and treatment to save vision, preserve eyes, and ultimately save lives.
