Renowned Oncologist Dr. Vijay Anand Reddy, Director and Senior Consultant at Apollo Cancer Hospital, launched his inspirational book *I Am a Survivor* on 24th August 2017 at Hotel Taj Krishna, Hyderabad.
The grand event was graced by eminent personalities including Ms. K. Kavitha (Member of Parliament), Mr. Mahesh Joshi (CEO, Apollo Homecare), Dr. G. N. Rao (Founder & Chair, LV Prasad Eye Institute), Ms. Sangita Reddy (Joint Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals), and cricketer Mr. V. V. S. Laxman.
Through this book, Dr. Reddy shared 108 powerful stories of cancer survivors drawn from his 25 years of experience as an oncologist. The survivors’ stories reflect immense courage, hope, and strength, inspiring countless others battling cancer.
The event also featured emotional testimonies from survivors, who expressed gratitude for Dr. Reddy’s empathy, compassion, and unwavering optimism in their journeys toward healing.
