Aiming to raise awareness among people about cancer and ways to combat the disease, Apollo Cancer Hospital conducted a flash mob with the theme "We Can. I Can" on the observance of World Cancer Day – 2016.
Led by Dr. Vijay Anand Reddy, Director, Apollo Cancer Hospital, and Bharath Reddy (Actor and Cardiologist), along with students of medicine at Sujana Forum Mall, participants took a pledge to work towards creating awareness about cancer prevention, early detection, and adopting a healthy lifestyle. The initiative emphasized early detection, access to treatment for all, and maximizing quality of life. Experts highlighted the need for a two-pronged approach to reduce the cancer burden, focusing on both prevention and treatment.
