Breast Cancer Prevention starts at 5 was organized on 22nd October 2011 with the aim of increasing awareness among young women about the prevention and detection of cancer.
Mrs. Banda Karthika Reddy, Mayor of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation; Ms. Lakshmi Manchu, Cine Actress, Classical Dancer & Cancer Survivor; and Padma Shri Dr. Ananda Shankar Jayant were invited as Chief Guests for the program. Students from Villa Marie College for Women, St. Francis College for Women, and Badruka College actively participated.
The seminar focused on educating young women about early prevention and detection strategies for breast cancer, emphasizing the importance of awareness from a young age.
