On the occasion of Breast cancer awareness month, Apollo Cancer Institute held a breast cancer awareness program at Apollo Cancer Hospital, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad on 30th October 2013 to honor the breast cancer survivors and spread awareness on breast cancer.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Vijay Anand Reddy briefed about cancer warning symptoms in women and various other cancers in women. He detailed early diagnostic techniques and treatment available today to treat and cure cancers. 'Cancer is a lifestyle disease,' Dr. Reddy motivated the audience emphasizing physical exercise and proper dietary habits.
Dr. Reddy's inspiring speech admired and supported cancer survivors and raised hope in patients fighting cancer. Encouraged and enchanted, cancer survivors joined Dr. Reddy at the dais and shared their experiences of fighting and surviving cancer. Ms. Bhramara shared how she regained all her health after chemotherapy cycles. Ms. Jyoti spoke about the moral support and treatment she received from Dr. Reddy and his team at Apollo Cancer Hospital.
