The Third Edition of Cancer CI – 2008 was held on 9th and 10th February 2008 at Hotel Taj Krishna, Hyderabad. Organized by Apollo Cancer Hospital and CURE Foundation in association with The New York Medical College, the conference was inaugurated by Governor N. D. Tiwari.
During the inauguration, Union Minister of State for Women and Child Development, Smt. Renuka Chowdhary, launched the "National Apollo Cancer Care Network," linking all Apollo Cancer Institutes across India.
The two-day conference featured a team of U.S. experts who trained Indian doctors in Robotic Surgery for Ovarian and Cervical Cancers. The event witnessed participation from nearly 1000 delegates and provided an invaluable opportunity for knowledge sharing and skill advancement in oncologic care.
